Meet the Doctor
Dr. Jenny Johns
Optometrist
Dr. Jenny Johns is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri and Southern College of Optometry. After graduating from optometry school in 2011, she completed a residency in primary care optometry with an emphasis in ocular disease at Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee, OK. Here, she earned her appreciation of the geriatric population though she also loves seeing entire families! Dr. Johns considers herself part Okie and part Texan, growing up in both the Jenks and Dallas/Fort Worth areas. She volunteers by doing optical mission trips in Belize and was able to serve as a volunteer on the “Honor Flight” which celebrates WWII, Korean, and Vietnam veterans with a trip to Washington DC. She is an avid runner (has run the Boston marathon twice!), loves to travel with her husband and spend time with their daughter Taylor, and enjoys cheering on her Missouri Tigers (even though they usually make it quite difficult).
